The National Institute of Fashion Technology Bengaluru, a premier academic institute of design, management and technology, aims at establishing the benchmark for the quality of professionals that go into the fashion industry. The Institute provides comprehensive and state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment to impart both practical and theoretical training. Creative architecture and spaciousness defines all buildings, which house fully equipped lecture rooms, design studios and laboratories, resource centres, activity centres and hostels. IT support is a critical feature and the computer labs are equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software.
NIFT Bengaluru is located in a prime area with all facilities and infrastructure in and around the campus. There is hostel provisions for girls only. Medical and doctor facility is available. There exists a recreation room along with indoor sports facility for the students. The Resource Centre (RC) was established with the inception of the college. It is the information centre for academic activities of NIFT Bangalore.
NIFT Bangalore has active collaboration with international universities. It welcomes students from ENSAIT and STC regularly on its campus. The Institute also witnesses many of its own students regularly selected for exchange programs at Fashion Institute of Technology, New York; ENSAIT, France; Queensland University of Technology, New Zealand; AMFI, Amsterdam; Bunka, Japan to name a few. The institute encourages best practices in academics, a thriving campus with activities which encourages the individual growth holistically.

Bangalore, officially known as Bengaluru, is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. The city was founded by Kempe Gowda- a feudal ruler under the Vijayanagara Empire. Bangalore is sometimes referred to as the "Silicon Valley of India" (or "IT capital of India") because of its role as the nation's leading information technology (IT) exporter. Indian technological organisations ISRO, Infosys, Wipro and HAL are headquartered in the city. The city also houses the Kannada film industry.
All the major areas of city faces heavy traffic as metro(Known as Namma Metro) connnectivity throughout the city is under developement. Major transports in city are buses operated by BMTC, auto-rickshaws and private cabs.
Due to its high elevation, Bangalore usually enjoys a more moderate climate throughout the year, although occasional heat waves can make summer somewhat uncomfortable.
